On the pages of this collection, the Russian-speaking writers of Israel tell about their life in the former USSR. They write about their first vivid impressions and about everyday life in the land of their ancestors. Ancient cities of Israel, such as Jerusalem and Nazareth, reminded the authors of Biblical plots. An entire chapter of the collection is devoted to the topic of the Holocaust of European Jewry.

The time has come for the works of our authors to become known to the world. The reader will enjoy brilliant poems and prose, essays and short stories, parables, fairy tales, translations and humour.
